How this estimate works
We size a system to roughly match your annual usage (worked out from your bill at 27p/kWh), capped by what typically fits on a roof of your home's size. Costs use current installed prices per kWp from real UK quotes — economies of scale mean bigger systems cost less per panel.
Savings assume you use about 45% of what you generate and export the rest at 15p. Add a battery and self-use rises to 70–90% — that maths is in the battery size finder.
